And away we go...

I was born in the home town of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglas, Rochester, New York. And I grew up in the seventies, a time of great forward movement in the push for equality for women and women's rights. I'd like to think thats how I come by some of my opinions, the good one's anyway, by virture of my upbringing and life experiences.

So here we go. I'm starting this blog because I think it is time for a woman to become the next president of the United States. For the next four years I will continue to state my case and with any luck the rest of the world will come around to my way of thinking by 2008.

Now I am a great fan of Hillary but as time goes by I plan to discuss many other successful influential women who are great leaders and who might might a good president of the United States. So hang on and please join me for a most interesting, opinionated and educational ride.
